Amie founded Families of New Level to create more opportunities for the athletes and families in the New Level Baseball & Softball programs. ⚾🥎
What began as a simple idea has grown into a full nonprofit supporting scholarships, fundraising, and long-term sustainability for the teams.

With more than 15 years of experience in operations and leadership, she is passionate about building systems that make an impact—both on and off the field.

Vice President

Cruz brings over 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, housing counseling, and financial capability programs. As Director of Housing & Financial Capabilities at the Urban League of San Diego County, Cruz oversees multimillion-dollar programs focused on compliance, financial literacy, and housing stability, helping dozens of families achieve first-time homeownership. With a technical background in engineering and data systems, Cruz combines strategic oversight with a strong commitment to community empowerment.

Shanon Snead has built a career in the tech industry but has always had a deep passion for sports. Growing up, she played volleyball, basketball, and softball, competing nationally in travel softball. Her love for the game continued beyond college, playing in competitive women’s and co-ed leagues. As a wife to Bryan and a proud mom to Luke, Shanon understands the profound impact sports can have on a child’s life. She wanted to join the Families of New Level organization as she believes every child should have the opportunity to experience sports, not just for the game itself but for the invaluable life lessons—teamwork, resilience, sportsmanship, and building positive relationships—that come with it.
